Hey guys! Happy Monday! In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Renee Herren about how she found financial stability in freelancing after a corporate layoff.
Renee’s story really shows how powerful consistency can be in the freelancing space. If you’ve been thinking about becoming a virtual assistant, but you’re scared you won’t be able to land clients, this episode is for you!
Renee’s freelancing success wasn’t immediate. While many freelancers land clients quickly, it took her about four months to land her first client. But once she did, it all snowballed—she landed one client in June and then three more in July! She opens up about feeling discouraged along the way. But, she stayed committed! She leaned on our community, joined our challenges, and attended coaching calls to stay motivated.
Renee shares how she now fits freelancing into her busy life as a mom of two toddlers, how she landed her clients, and the financial stability she’s gained through freelancing.
