Hey there! Happy Monday! In today’s episode, we chat with Chesney, who went from enrolling in Live Free Academy to quitting her job in just 90 days! Chesney’s freelancing journey is nothing short of inspiring! After enrolling in April, she landed her first two clients within a month during our “Land Your First (or Next) Client Challenge” and by July, she had quit her job. Now, she gets to work from home with her almost 8 month old! She replaced her previous income and only works 15-20 hours a week!
Chesney shares how she landed two clients within a month, the tasks she manages for them, and how she learned new tools on the job. Chesney’s clients include a museum director and a wedding hair and makeup artist. She handles a range of tasks such as email inbox management, creating templates, scheduling sessions, sending proposals, and other mundane, to-do list tasks.
She also shares how the Live Free Academy community and challenges gave her the support she needed, especially when doubt crept in and she wondered if freelancing was actually attainable.
I cannot emphasize this enough – freelancing is alive and well, and it’s the best way for working moms to replace their income and be at home with their kids, while still making the income they need!
