297: How Kaleigh Tracy Works From Home With Her Four Kids

Hey there! Today we’re chatting with Kaleigh Tracy about how she works from home with her four kids, all under 6 years old, and successfully manages her busy household. Kaleigh shares her journey into freelancing, which began unexpectedly when she lost her childcare during maternity leave. She tried to find another option for childcare so she could go back to her corporate job but everything in her area was either full or wasn’t able to accommodate all four of her kiddos. With no other option, Kaleigh turned to freelancing… and thrived!

It was a stressful season, but it pushed her to give freelancing a chance… and Kaleigh found quick success in this space! She zoomed through the course and quickly joined a Land Your First (or Next) Client challenge. She consistently put herself out there that month and she got results! She landed two clients during the challenge and three more the following month.

In today’s episode, Kaleigh shares how she landed her retainer clients, the industry her clients are in, and the tasks she does for each of them. She also tells us about what her days look like, how many hours she works each week, and how she works from home while her kids around.
