287: One Simple Tip to Increase Your Packages with Current Clients and Get Some Referrals




Hey there, happy Monday! Today I’m sharing one simple tip to increase your packages with current clients and get some referrals along the way!

As summer approaches, it might be the perfect time for you to ramp up your business and fill your schedule with client work. In this episode, we’ll explore one simple yet effective tip to help you achieve your business goals while strengthening relationships with your current clients.

This episode was actually inspired by a recent discussion in our Live Free Academy student Facebook group. Last week, someone posted asking for feedback on an email she drafted for her current clients. The email let them know that she had availability in her schedule and she would love some referrals. It was great, and it would have been received well!

However, it led us into a discussion about how I would approach the subject. Instead of directly asking for referrals, I recommend sending your clients a thoughtful check-in email. 

Simply reach out and ask your current clients about their upcoming plans for the summer, their business goals, and any projects or launches on the horizon. Let them know that you have some availability in your schedule and before you fill it with another client, you wanted to check in on their needs first. This approach nurtures the client relationship and opens the door for additional work opportunities. 

By proactively reaching out and offering your services to your current clients, you demonstrate your commitment to supporting their needs. You make them feel cared for and valued, and you’ll also probably increase your chances of receiving referrals organically.

As you prepare your business for the summer months, remember that nurturing existing client relationships is just as important as landing new clients. By sending a simple check-in email, you can increase your chances of filling up your schedule with more client work and gaining valuable referrals for your business!
